I tried BBQ chicken pizza for the first time several years ago when I was studying abroad in London. It was one of those late night “I need to eat something before we go out” dinners where my roomie ordered it and I was dubious. I don’t normally crave BBQ chicken pizza and we don’t have it often, but the other day I got a craving and couldn’t stop thinking about trying to make my own version.
There are some combinations that just are made for each other: peanut butter and chocolate, red wine and potato chips (don’t knock it till you try it), bacon and cheddar, and slightly spicy-sweet chili and the Super Bowl. In honor of the big game this weekend, here’s a quick and easy chili recipe that will only get better the longer you let it simmer on game day.
